About us

The New England Parking Council was founded in 1984. We are a non-profit organization run by a board of volunteers. The goal of the NEPC is to further people’s skills and understanding in the parking and transportation industry through conferences, seminars, workshops, meetings, and other networking opportunities.

Annual Conference

NEPC sponsors an annual conference each year in various locations throughout New England. The conference offers educational seminars, networking opportunities, specialized round table discussions, in addition to product and service information by our exhibitors and consulting members.

Networking

Parking and transportation are rapidly changing, dynamic fields involving public policy, personnel management, traffic and transportation development, budget and finance, systems management, technology, and a host of other skills. As a member of NEPC you are only a phone call or email away from highly respected parking professionals with years of experience solving parking and transportation’s toughest problems.

The NEPC also sponsors bi-monthly meetings throughout New England. New England Parking Council members will be invited to these meetings free of charge.

All members are invited to host NEPC meetings at or near their particular sites so they may share information, technology, policy, or other parking/transportation related event.

  • Universities, municipalities, hospitals, etc. may wish to share how they deal with their industry-specific issues, show off a new facility or new PARCS technology
  • Vendors may wish to unveil a new piece of equipment, technology, or operating system.
  • Architects, engineers, consultants may wish to show a new project.
  • Any of the above may wish to hold a round table, panel discussion or focus group about a particular parking or transportation issue.

Depending on location, topic, and season, we anticipate from ten to forty attendees per meeting. The meetings should average approximately two hours and should contain coverage of the planned topic and networking/social time.

The New England Parking Council will provide up to $300 in reimbursements for actual meeting expenses such as food/drink/parking/etc.
